4.8.2012 - Easter brunch at Screen Door, Portland, Oregon.
Again, fried chicken in Portland?! Who knew?! chicken and waffles (it can feed 3 people easy), yes I ate a corn dog for breakfast (started by dipping it in the syrup but then switched to dipping it in the pimento cheese)…everything was delicious but the pimento cheese was eh…the first time I had pimento cheese was just this past december in South Carolina on my way back from Europe. This stuff in this tub with Jalapenos is the best...sometimes I think about it when I’m working and I drool.
Isn’t this amber swirly whirly pretty?! I had a Stella for lunch at LAS (Las Vegas Airport). The food selection at LAS is absolutely dreadful. At times like this the best thing to do is have a beer for a meal. Trust me.
However we had 1.5hrs or so to kill so we played the slots at the airport. I won big = I turned $10 into $26 dollars. Welcome to Las Vegas, the magical hell.
Merci beaucoup Portland! You are delicious, friendly and kind. I can’t wait to visit again hopefully soon!
Merci beaucoup Jordan! Best early surprise birthday gift everrrr! xoxo
P.S. I lost my AMAZING polaroid from brunch…if you are in Portland and you see a polaroid of a stack of chicken and waffles with a really handsome guy behind it please contact me to confirm that it is mine and be kind and mail it to me. PLEASE! REWARD will be provided $.
4.8.2012 - Waiting outside for Easter brunch in Portland, Oregon.
I would love to live in an orange house like that across the street from a delicious brunch spot in Portland. Orange, you are still an underappreciated color by the masses but I adore you. I took this photo sitting on the curb of a sidewalk…thank you iPhone for keeping me entertained while my tummy growls.
Good job boyfriend with these close up in my face iPhone or should I say eye-phone photos. I know I probably shouted something like “eww don’t take such close up photos of me!” “ewww gross!” …oops :) xoxo
4.7.2012 - The observatory in Portland, Oregon.
I love cheese. I love fruit. I love seafood, especially when it’s spicy! What I love more is when these options are offered for late night eats. We needed a place to eat after 11pm. We ended up here…it’s also near Tanuki in the kinda sketchy lookin’ neighborhood a bit far east. I don’t care if there are hookers on the same street and a shop called “Portland hot tubbing” open at this hour. If the food is good, the food is good. Oh yeah we also had the BBQ pulled pork with sweet potato fries…PHAT FAT.

4.7.2012 - “Je m’appelle Burger King” @ Powell’s City of Books, Portland, Oregon (Biggest/coolest bookstore I’ve ever been to).
This is what my boyfriend drew at Powell’s after drinking coffee. What did I do? I speed walked back and forth two floors at Powell’s for a far too long length of time, looking for two books that ended up being in the same exact aisle… #coffeeiscrack #ilovepowells
Merci beaucoup I love him he’s so handsome! I love you you’re so handsome!
Crack in Portland, I mean COFFEE in Portland = Public Domain & Stumptown Coffee.

It’s small but FREE! I can be a bit freaky but true and peculiar too…how fitting. We walked here from downtown = the walk we so desperately needed after eating our phat fat brunch.
I don’t really have the easiest time meeting new people or making friends. But this dude was different. Maybe you can’t tell but we are bonding. I’m holding his hand.
Established in 1934?!! Super old. = Legit.
I used to think about spontaneous combustion quite often in middle school. I blame incubus.

4.7.2012 - I love brunch in Portland, Oregon.
Corned Beef Hash! Merci beaucoup GRAVY. Be careful, their portions are HUGE. My plate could have fed 1 man, 3 toddlers and me. heheh look my plate looks like a skull. cutes.
OH shit.
Look at the dessert candies I got after my dinner at Tanuki! Yep, creamed corn in hard candy form was creamy dreamy yum. I LOVE THEIR KIMCHI BACON CROISSANT BUNS!!! Big merci beaucoup to Adena and Oh bpah for all the foodie recommendations. If you are 21 and over and want an adventurous fun dinner AND you happen to be in Portland…venture out to this kinda sketchy lookin’ neighborhood and eat here. They have awesome japanese/korean cult films and tv shows playing on the screens too. I recommend sitting in front of the screen at the bar and you must order omakase. Note: I was having so much fun stuffing my tummy that I didn’t take any photos of the food :)
4.7.2012 - Portland, Oregon.
We got food trucks in LA but Portland has food carts. Yes, I want a kimchi quesadilla right now. Thank you Adena for pointing me to this direction but I didn’t have enough time to try them…I took this photo while my tummy was stuffed with brunch…I must conquer all food carts on my next trip back to Portland!
Internet/Business Centers in Portland look kinda creepy cool, hey?
